Upon the Roof, we began to sing yesterday with St Josephs college students in Maine..

the beautiful day that was we were banging nails on a building we are rehabbing in Mt Vernon, that we will be n office for habitat for free, to help us increase our work that great city..st joes is my college, an alum I am...

and so proud to get my students involved every year...how about you, can you get your alumni out with us, helping us..we have Fordham, Georgetown, Holy Cross, and many more that come out, Harvard, Ivy league schools and others...education after all is to help solve problems of society, not just to stufy them...

Last nite I spoke in Katonah at a packed room on affordable housing in the north county..sewers water, and other issues were discussed as impediments...but also we had the supervisor, the league of voters, the local not for profits, and habitat talking about how we can change things...creative solutions have to be made...new systems have to be designed, accessory apartments need to be added and whole communities need to kept..

all of this can happen...I was impressed by the Record Review reporter Joan, who was up on the issues and supported affordable housing in her understanding...the media has such an important role in knocking down the Berlin wall against affordable homes...and raising real walls...

join us to help advocate and educate, hold a meeting in your town, start a local project committee, the excitement is building...God bless you all

BLESSED BE THE LORD, THE GOD OF MERCY THE GOD WHO SAVES....

  AND THE LORD HEARS THE CRY OF THE POOR..TWO SONGS I HEARD AT MASS YESTERDAY.I LOVE ALL DIFERENT TRADITIONS, AND THE THEOLOGY OF THE HAMMER HAS ALLOWED ME TO BE ABLE TO REACHOUT AND TO BE ABLE TO HELP DO GREAT THINGS IN HIS NAME..FROM SPEAKNG AT CHURCHES, SYNGAGOGUES,EVEN MOSQUES..WHERE WE HAVE SHARED THE LOVE OF GOD..IN MY OWN TRADITION WE CELEBRATE ST PATRICKS DAY THIS WEEK, A DAY NOT OF DRINKING BUT OF CONVERSION, A DAY NOT OF JUST PARTYING, ( I DO LOVE MY HERITAGE) BUT OF DOING MORE, HELPING MORE..GROWING UP CATHOLIC, I OFTEN THINK OF THE POTENTIAL OF THE ST PATRICKS CHURCHES I HAVE ATTENDED AND THE TIMES I HAVE SONG THE MUSIC ABOVE IN HOPES THE CHURCH WOULD LEAVE THE PEWS AFTER EACH MASS AND GO BUILD ON A HOME, OR GO HELP FEED THE HOMELESS...EVERY CONGREGATION SHOULD DO THIS..

AND IF WE DO THIS WE CHANGE THE WORLD TOGETHER..WE HELP END POVERTY, WE HELP WITH THE TRUE THEOLOGY OF THE HAMMER, AND BUILD WALLS OF HOPE AND LOVE WITH HABITAT.. BUT ALSO IT IS  IMPORTANT TO MAKE SURE THE WALLS OF OUR HOMES, ARE FILLED WITH LOVE, WTIH FAITH WITH HOPE, FROM THE INSIDEOUT, AND SO I ASK YOU TO PRAY FOR OUR FAMILIES THIS LENTEN PASSOVER SEASON, PRAY FOR THEIR LIVES TO BE BLESSED NOT JUST WITH HABITAT WALLS ON THE OUTSIDE, BUT HABITAT WALLS OF LOVE ON THE INSIDE OF THEIR SOULS...SO MANY OF THEM MINISTER TO ME, WITH THEIR GREAT JOY AND FAITH, AND ALSO PRAY FOR EACH OTHERS WALLS, OF HOPE ON THE INSIDE AND ON THE OUTSIDE, FOR YOUR HOME AND FOR YOUR SOULS OF HOPE AND LOVE..GOD BLESS, JIM KILLORAN
